Renovation of large pipes in the Ruhr area
In the spring of 2022, the Emschergenossenschaft commissioned us to renovate 1,121 m large pipe.
The 440 m long steel pipe with changing cross-sections (DN 1200, DN 2000 and DN 2200) had to be cleaned with maximum pressure and then lined with a 2-layer cement mortar coating.
The 681 m long concrete mouth cross-section DN 1400 / 2200 had to be cleaned with maximum pressure first. Subsequently, the washed out sole, damaged by eruptions, was pre-profiled by hand with cement mortar, and in the second step lined with a 2-layer cement mortar coating.
