Cement mortar lining of 5 inverted siphon DN 3500
Berkel Rohrtechnik GmbH received the demanding order to provide 5 newly installed steel pipes with corrosion protection.
The choice of corrosion protection fell on the decades-proven method of cement mortar lining.
Only a few companies worldwide are able to produce a cement mortar lining in these large diameters.
For execution came 5 inverted siphon DN 3500, each with a length of 99.00 m. For each steel pipe, the area to be coated was 1,080.60 m².
The cement mortar lining was produced with the required layer thickness of at least 15 mm.
